What we collect

• Contact information: your name, mobile number, optional email address, preferred contact method, best time to reach you, and your text-message consent choice.
• Vehicle information: year, make, model, mileage, VIN if you supply it, running status, damage, title status, whether the engine, transmission and wheels are present, and any notes you add.
• Vehicle location: city, state and ZIP code, the street address if you supply it, where the vehicle is parked, tow accessibility and access notes.
• Vehicle photos you choose to upload.
• Communications information: records of the calls, texts and emails we exchange with you about your vehicle request, and basic technical details of your submission used to prevent spam.

How we use it

We use your information to evaluate your vehicle, respond to your vehicle-sale request, contact you about an offer, and coordinate pickup if you accept. We do not sell your information and we do not use it for marketing.

How it is stored

Your submission and photos are stored in a private system. Photos are kept in private storage that is not publicly accessible, and only authorized Genesis Auto Center staff can open your request.

Text messages (SMS)

Text messaging is optional. On the vehicle offer form there is a separate, unchecked-by-default box you can check to agree to receive text messages from Genesis Auto Center about your vehicle request. You do not have to agree to texts to submit a vehicle for an offer — if you leave it unchecked we will call you instead.

• Messages relate only to your own vehicle request: confirming we received it, following up with an offer, and coordinating pickup.
• Message frequency may vary. Message and data rates may apply.
• Reply STOP to opt out at any time. Reply HELP for help.
• We do not send promotional or marketing text messages.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties.

Who we share information with

We do not sell your information and we do not share it for marketing. We share only what is necessary with service providers that help us operate: our website and database hosting provider, and our messaging and email providers, which deliver the texts and emails about your request. We may also share information where we are required to by law.

Your choices

• Email is optional — you can leave it blank and we will use your phone.
• Photos are optional.
• Text messages are optional and can be stopped by replying STOP.
• You can ask us to delete your request and photos by calling or emailing us using the details below.
